English singer-songwriter with a very beautiful voice, Adele was born on May 5, 1988 in Tottenham, London, England.
Adele’s major music influence is the Spice Girls, she began singing at the age of four. She used to impersonate Spice Girls in parties when she was a kid. When she was 11 years old, they moved to West Norwood, South London. During this time, she became interested with R&B singers such as Mary J Blige, Aaliyah and Destiny’s Child.
Adele attended and graduated at The BRIT School for Performing Arts and Technology in May 2006. She was a classmate of Jessie J and Leona Lewis in the said school. During this time, she was more interested to artists and repertoire, hoping to produce other people’s career in music. While at BRIT, she meet an inspirational singer named Shingai Shoniwa. She live next door to the singer and often jam around with her. Shingai made her think of wanting to be a writer and not just sing Destiny’s Child Songs.
Adele recorded three-song demo for a class project, then she gave it to a friend and her friend posted it on Myspace. When recording labels heard her song, they automatically called Adele.
